I've been working on my cosplay stuff with one of my friends Verena today :D I don't have much to share with you from today so I'll show you what I bought a few days ago. Bodyshop had a sale so I picked up their new bodybutter blueberry and their mango. 

 

 

 

Hi guys this is what I'll be doing today.
I don't even know why I've decided to make this monster except for it's badass (and a huge part of the costume I'm making). I'm sorry to say but I really hate Blizzard right now, the one crossbow I really liked, they've only got the trailer as a preference and ONE image. Screw you Blizzard, no really.

 

This v is what I'm trying to accomplish. 

 

 

My mom needed a new foundation so we went to m.a.c's store to get some professional help with finding her skintone since she's extremely picky when it comes to foundation and make up in general. She doesn't want to cake it, but she want the foundation and all make up to cover and blend everything to perfection, so we asked the make up artist if she could help my mom find a foundation. She found a foundation and an eyebrow pen so mom's excited. And I asked the make up artist to help me find a foundation for doll-makeups so she found me one really pale, and a blusher and a red eyeshadow (they didn't have that kind of red in blush so she told me an eyeshadow would also do the trick) since I wanted the really apple red cheeks for my snow white and Elsa cosplay. 

The tiny ones are a samples of a concealer and a moisturizer. 

 

 

 

I just ordered myself an ocarina... crazy huh? :D
I've always wanted one but I couldn't decide what to get (which color/material and key) and then I came across this video and I ordered it within 5 minutes while I was still listening to the song. I'm going to learn this song asp when I get my ocarina and I'll be playing it this summer or waiting for the last hobbit movie at the premiere. I hope the others in line won't mind me playing it because I'd like to see them stop me.

Oh god I'm so excited I can't wait!

 

 

I've been shopping today and I found some really nice pieces.
Most of these things was on sale and I just couldn't resist buying them. The baseball jacket was hidden in a store behind a ton of other sweaters so I think someone was trying to hide it so they could come back and buy it later but HA! Who ever you are, I beat ya' to it (sorry).

I also found a couple of wine glasses of wich I'll be drinking orange juice in or something else since I don't drink alcohol. Maybe I could plant something in them? who knows! I liked the shape of them anyway that's why I bought them.

I'll show you guys some other things I found tomorrow, I gotta' go to bed now so I can go to work tomorrow. 

 

 I found a pair of glasses today for my co-worker from a fun store with imported goods from Denmark

 

I've had my eyes on this beauty for quite some time now (I've wanted one for like 5 years I guess) but I haven't bought one until... a few minutes ago haha!

I want to have this bag with me for all kind of missions, for cosplay and when I'm out on my photoshoots. I really hope that I'll get this one before we'll be going to NY and that I can fit my laptop into it and my cameras.
This is the typical anime schoolbag for most animes, that's if they don't have a briefcase of some sort~ 

My favorite anime of all time must be K-on since it's one of those happy go lucky kind of anime, and they have bags like this. I found this bag at ebay so if you want one of your own just search for ''japanese school bag'' and you'll find these~ They have with pink straps as well.

 

 

I just finished this book today. We had one of those very calm and quiet days at work today and yesterday so I read this book on and off and I finished it a few hours ago.
My thoughts: It's a very unique book, It contains a lot of vintage photos, so if you're a photagrapher and interested in black and white old pictures I think you might like this one. It contains some really old photo tricks and early on 'photoshop'. I wouldn't say it's a childrens book but it's also something in between that and young adults novel and the characters are magical and pretty similar to x-men with the institute of magical/unique children. It also contains some timetravel and that's pretty much all I can give you without spoiling the book for the one who actually wants to read it.

I wouldn't say it was the best book I've read but it wasn't a bad book either.

It's something like 2.5 - 3 toasters out of 5. 

What I liked most about the book was actually the images for all my photographer readers out there, borrow this book or buy it, just so you can take a look at the images. 

 

Here are the results from yesterdays photo shoot. I know they're not as high quality as we wanted them to be but the shoot was so stressful since we didn't get Sofia ready until 2pm and the sun sets here like 3-4pm? so we really had to rush things and it was freezing. And I also forgot a very important piece for the tripod so we couldn't use that at all which sucked big time. And her character usually lives in a very warm climate so we didn't get the enviroment right. We'll have to redo this shoot when it's summer. But atleast she'll have a few photos for her facebook page. 

 

I'm going through my SD card and deleting a few test images I had. I'm going to take a few pictures of my dear friend Sofia's cosplay tomorrow so I have to charge my batteries and get my camera bag ready and fit for fight! It's going to be insanely freezing tomorrow, especially for Sofia but hopefully the images will be worth it. 

 

I'm taking a few days off since it's not very forgiving to work with wigs, my hand, shoulders, neck, back and eyes are killing me so I'm just going to chillax and watch Merlin for a few more days soo don't worry I'm not dead,  I'll be in my bed doing absolutely nothing for a few more days to come.

And I know it's a crappy picture but there's really no use in putting a lot of effort and time taking a picture of something that isn't finished. 

I have to say it looks a lot like teenage Odette from the swan princess 

 

 

 

I had a fairly good morning today, I woke up at 10 am by myself feeling completely rested, I made myself some breakfast and just sat in my kitchen taking some time to myself. I gotta' go to work in a few minutes but since I don't have to be at work until 3pm I had a few hours this morning to just sit and read, so I read this book. I don't know what to say about it though, it's okay I guess. It's not really the type of book I usually like to read since I want my books to be an escape from reality but I decided to step out of my comfort zone for once. 

Little Bee is about this refugee girl from Nigeria and how she ended up in England. And that's pretty much all I can tell you without spoiling it for you. If you want something to read and like these kind of subjects it's worth reading. 

I'll update you about some more stuff when I get home from work.

So this is how far I've come with the wig today. I'm slowly getting there but it's hell of a process.  It looks a lot like a Legolas kind of wig right now but it's only because I haven't added enough hair in it. 

I love making wigs but it's really painfull for my back since I don't have a proper wigstand.

The lighting in my room sucks btw, the wig in it self is more of a platina blonde wig but without proper lighting it looks more yellow than it is.

Hi guys, as you might have noticed I've been absent for a few days.. it's because I've been working on my elsa wig.

I've been working all day and when I come home from work I watch Merlin and work on my wig. It's extremely time consuming but it's going to be amazing once I'm finished.

If you're wondering about the black cloth on my wig head it's because my wig head is white and a skin colored wig lace is extremely hard to work with since they blend so well together. As you see I'm making kinda like a Belle (from Beauty and the beast) hairline, it's heart shaped to give Elsa a kinder looking face instead of a complete round one or a square one. 

So this is what I've been upto lately!

I've also done some shopping and I'll give you guys a photo bomb of what I've got when I find some time to take some pictures of it. Until then, you know where I am and where to find me. (In my room working with wigs not doing anything special)
