I just got home from work. I'm exhausted.
I wish I could take a nap but if I do that, I won't wake up until tomorrow and I have a ton of stuff to do. I have several Disney requests to finish and designing my online portfolio and my other sneaky projects. 

I just gotta' grab something to eat and then I'll get back to work. 

So since I'm feeling slightly better (I'm feeling well enough to actually sit by the computer) I spent some hours trying to catch up with the Disney portraits. 

Here's another atempt to draw another lovely lady.

I asked a week ago, or was it two? I can't remember haha. If someone wanted me to draw them Disney style. And typically enough I got a truck load of paperwork and design projects on the side to finish before I could start making these ''commissions''/requests.

Hi guys, I have severe stomach pain and have had these last week so I've been in bed doing absolutely nothing. Well technically I haven't been doing nothing since I've been watching a bunch of movies and sleeping but that's pretty much it. Man I love being a woman.
Any who, just before that I went shopping and bought me something to read.
I haven't heard much about them but I hope they're good :)

I've been crazy busy lately. It felt like someone just dumped truck load of paperwork on me this last week. So I haven't even been by the computer that much at all.
Since I've been working so hard I decided to treat myself to a few things that I've had my eyes on for a while so I ordered them last night.

Wow just 10 minutes by the computer that's all the time I had for today because now I have to go get dressed so I can go buy myself a new callender and then go back to work.

For all of you who sent me images: I'll start working on them tomorrow when I have my "day off". 

Technically I never have a day off since I'm trying to start up my own business but I'll make time for you guys.

 

I want to thank all of you who sent me links to pictures to help me improve my drawing technique! I'm dedicating this whole week for that. (And yep, I'm going to draw every single one of you and upload it on my blog)

I found my old playlist on spotify with all the Disney songs, since I haven't uploaded any picture of me in a while I drew a Disney inspired portrait of myself!

Hi guys! I'm sorry I haven't updated anything. I've been busy making prints for my design projects.
These last two days I made one design. It's completely finished now and is ready to be sent away to be ''manifactured''. I'm not going to do that right now though, I still have a few things that I need to fix before I do that. I haven't made up my mind if I should make the design for myself or if I should have it made by a company.
I'm sorry if I can't give you much more than this but I have to keep it a secret until it's all finished.
But It's going to be awesome~

And oh, do enjoy this quick doodle I made just a few minutes ago.

This isn't new news, but I didn't even think about it until now. Maybe some of you guys haven't thought about it either so I thought it would be worth spreading or at least mentioning.

Hi guys. I've been working on my Demon Hunter from Diablo 3 cosplay these last days. I've been making her badass crossbow with the skull. It's hard though since I'm trying to make a crossbow you only see in the trailer video for like a few seconds and it's so dark you barely see anything.
My friend Eric's going to help me with taking some snapshots from in game in a few weeks. But until then I can't do shit.

I don't know if I should show pictures of the progress or just the finished product.

Suggestions?

 

Hi guys, a few days ago I bought myself a new tablet. I really needed one ASAP so I could start on my upcoming projects. The one I posted a few days ago is my dream tablet, but I'll have to order it since they don't sell it in stores here in Sweden. And it's quite expensive so I'll have to save some money for it.
I have an old drawing tablet which I've been using almost every day since I got it, but it's for my old PC laptop (which crashed 1 year ago now), but it doesn't work on mac so I had to buy myself a new one.
It's been years since I last drew something with a tablet. It's not as easy as it looks. If you use a pencil and draw paper you get some kind of a friction which gives you a bit of resistance while you're drawing. Which makes it a lot easier to get steady lines. Using a tablet on the other hand, it's like rollerskating inside on a plastic floor. It's really slippery so it's totally different. My drawing skills means jack using a tablet, it's like I'm back to basics because you really have to draw using your whole arm and shoulder instead of just using your wrist. But hey, enjoy this quick doodle I made for you ~

 

Hi guys! A few days ago I wanted to see world war z but I've been looking at the book in the store for quite some time now, wondering if I should buy it or not. So a few weeks ago I decided to read it before I see the movie (like I always do). I haven't had the time yet to do so even though I bought it like 2 weeks ago. Things just keeps popping up, like work or other things. But now I have a few days off from work so I'm going to take my time reading it. I'm a few chapters in and I like it. Like most books you really have to focus in the beginning otherwise you'll miss out on who's who and what's going on and all the important details.

I want this tablet so badly. It's like its made for me or something.
If you didn't know I went to art school for three years and then I studied animation at Swedens finest school for movies and theatre.
So you could say that I definitely have a use for it.

I went to the movies today with my friend Karro.
We watched Pacific Rim. I'm not sure how to describe it to you guys but I'll try and in a few words; Neon Genesis Evangelion.

I wasn't too impressed by the story since I've seen the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime, and a few other mecha animes. So it wasn't a new concept to me. But I liked the movie anyway, non stop braindead action. Yeah I'm saying braindead just because that's what it is, you don't have to think or analyze anything that's happening in the movie. The story didn't have much substance by it self, but the graphics was awesome. I'm going to buy it on blu-ray when it comes out, It's one of those "yeah I'm not impressed but I just gotta' have it, you know" I really enjoyed watching it, and I bet you will too since it's a really cool movie.

 

 

Hi guys, yesterday I went shopping with my mom and I found this adorable case. 
I love animals but if I should narrow a few of my favorite animals down to a top ten list, the bunny is one of them. I've had a few myself growing up and they're super cute and sweet. My bunnies were like dogs following me around and one of them even liked to eat my dogs food. 
Anywho I found this at my local Glitter store and I just had to have it.
They have it in white, pink, baby blue (and purple I think).
My thoughts about it: I have this screen protector called "invisible shield" and this doesn't work well with the case. The edges that hold my phone onto place pushes the screen protector in, making it come off in the edges. It's crap (the case). I'm sorry but it is. I think they could have made the case a bit softer on the inside edges to keep it from scraping the protector off my phone. But I also get it that they should have such a perfect fit so you don't have to be afraid of it slipping out of the case. Like the McGuyver I am I had an okay solution to the problem. I taped it around the edges to keep it in place.
One other thing. The tail, it sticks to the phone with this suction cup which keeps coming off all the time. I think it's a cute funny thing for temporary use if you'd like to use it as a phone stand or whatever for just a few minutes, to keep it from falling over. BUT like I said, the cup is crap and keeps coming off it's like the eore of phone cases.
It wasn't that expensive so I guess you get what you pay for. It was about 80 SEK and can be found at your local Glitter. For my international friends; maybe you'll be able to find it at ebay if you're lucky.

Today's my day off from work so I wanted to do a lot of things I've been falling behind on: like my blog for example. I really want to start working on the design but I can't, not at the moment anyway. The tablet I have doesn't work on mac. So I guess I'll stop being a slob and clean my room and study for my drivers license.
When you're constantly busy everything else just starts to pile up.

 

I tried to catch up with some sleep but that just ended with me waking up with migraine.

Also: most of you are probably wondering why I don't have a drivers license. It's because I live pretty central and there's a walking distance to everything.

Todays tip: A movie worth watching.

I think most people can relate to this video since we're the internet generation as they call us.
There's so much hate and bullying out there, it's so sad and pathetic at the same time. How can people really get to that point that they feel the need or even the urge if you will, to put people down to make themselves feel better about themselves or simply get a kick out of it. Some people will do pretty much anything for attention. Internet shouldn't be a place for misery or hate. It should be a an outlet of some sort, for creativity or information. And no it shouldn't be the law of the jungle, isn't it enough that the world is tough out there, in real life. Why online? Why in your own home? I always say my home is my sanctuary. I don't bring crap or bad people into my home, why? because this is my home for crying out loud. I should feel safe in my own home. But internet, it's everywhere, and it's here, on my computer, I let it inside my home...

Texting can be interpreted in different ways depending on the person reading it and in which state of mind he or she's in while reading it. I can some way interpret a text as a very neutral or sometimes even very harsh tone because someone decided not to use smileys.

Look at these examples and hopefully you'll see what I'm talking about.

"I have to talk to you"
and
"I have to talk to you :)"

Which one of the above examples would alarm you?

So one should think once or twice on how you write stuff to someone you don't know.

 

 

So I found this video on youtube for all you bloggers who's probably wondering what the fuck I'm talking about most of the time.
Well this sums it up pretty much. But something they failed to mention, not all make cosplays just to compete. (since most conventions here in Sweden doesn't have a prize worth mentioning). For any butt hurt convention crew/members reading this; If you'd make a cosplay for THOUSANDS of swedish kronor (nice english huh?) and the prize is a figurine and a trophy for just a few hundred ...yeah you wouldn't make a cosplay and spend all that money for that now would ya'? didn't think so.

 

Hi guys, look what Disney just announced about. Okay I'm lying to you! They announced it on their Facebook page yesterday but I don't want to spam my blog with stuff on one day and not update for like a week.
So yeah! I'm not sure if I want one or not. I think they look okay for being the designer doll collection. The previous ones were more luxurious looking. And they came in a hard plastic /glass display box.
And the previous ones had complete different outfits. They were inspired by the movies but they weren't the ones they had in the movies with made them unique. This versions looks like the cheap dolls you can get online or in their stores for like 12 pounds? Yeah I'm not very impressed by these. I'd rather buy the original looking versions that actually look like the outfits they're wearing in the movie. I mean like, what's with snow whites braid? No, just no.
And I think they could have made Beast a deluxe doll of some sort and made him bigger than that. Plus the facial expression, he looks just so distracted gazing into nothing or just very unimpressed/uninterested in what's going on. It could be the placing of dolls too. If you look at the others, they've placed the dolls so it looks like they princes are looking at their princesses. I think Disney should make the prince dolls taller than the princesses. But maybe that's just me.
Either way, enjoy and they will release the dolls soon. I think they'll release them this month or next. They'll be available online and in stores if I'm not mistaken.

 

 

Hi guys, I just watched the Thor 2 trailer and I can't wait. I want to see the movie soo bad right now.

Hillywood ladies and gentlmen! I don't know where they find all the great dancers and all the doppelgängers but who cares really? Not as good looking as Nicholas Hoult, but then again, none can replace the original.

Yeah, she's that girl from the Hannah Montana tv-series, she plays Miley's best friend and she can sing too. I really love her voice and I think she have some great songs!
