Yeah yeah yeah I know, buuuu twilight and buuu Stephenie Meyer, oh grow up grow a pair and get your own opinion. I've read the twilight books, they're good, a bit slow but still fairly okay. And the movies, they're a bit meh, but they're not awful to watch either.
And here comes The Host, another creation made by our beloved author Stephenie Meyer. I loved the book, it was slow, but most books are. And I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie. I like the trailer, and they've made a few changes, but what movies doesn't?
Thank you youtube for the nostalgia! These are the movies I used to watch as a kid! Me and my brother still are huge fans of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, we used to play that we were them with our cousins, using sticks and branches as weapons running around in the forest at our grandmas summer house. I like all of the characters but I think Raphael have a special place in my heart.
I loved this movie as a child I used to walk around during recess and sing the songs for myself and dream about Cornelius and some kind of prince charming character to come and sweep me off my feet.. come to think of it it's quite silly but the songs are great. I found the DVD out in stores and online, but I was suspicious since they never mentioned anything about the swedish dubb so I mailed the distributor and asked, as I suspected they've removed it. So there's no swedish Thumbelina dubb out on dvd yet. I found it on youtube tho' enjoy~
Me and my friend discussed the photos and how we felt like they had retouched them too much. But then again, the wedding is a publicity trick to get president Snow off their backs since he's not all to happy about Katniss little trick with the poisonous berries, making them two winners instead of one. The wedding is super hyped by the capitol and thus the dresses and of course the white roses.
I went to the movies with my friend Ida today, we decided last week that we were going to see Beautiful Creatures, so these last days I've been in my bed reading the book like there was no tomorrow (that's why I haven't posted anything these last days) the book's about 600 pages! I like to read the book before I see the movie. I don't know what you guys think but I can't read a book after I've seen the movie. Why? Because I see the film in my head when I read the book and it's played in slow-motion plus I also already know how it's going to end.
So I liked the book, felt a bit long at times but it was good! I'd give it a 4/5
About the movie, well I didn't picture the characters to look like they did, plus they even erased one of the characters from the book... which I didn't like at all. And not to mention they completely changed the look of Ridley. Didn't approve of that at all.
Me and my friends Erica and Eddie went to the premiere of the new Tom Cruise movie Jack Reacher. We showed up as early as 11 AM, and we were told to that Tom would arrive around 6PM. So we had plenty of time to freeze our feet off. Around 2PM the movie theatre staff was kind enough to let us in to the closed cinema to get warmed up. They even gave us hot cocoa and coffee. A few hours before Tom arrived we got to stand in the movie theaters restricted area for club members. So we got to meet Tom really close up! He was super kind and sweet as can be. He really took his time to sign every piece of paper the fans gave him. And he took pictures with us too. I was lucky enough to get his attention for quite a while. I was standing very close to the door and just by the fence! I got him to sign a few photos for my friends, and my mission impossible dvd collector's set! Since I was standing up front I had a mass of people behind me, and they crushed me against the fence. Tom saw it and he told security to back them off. He really cares for his fans, and I think my respect for him grew even deeper this day.
We also got interviewed by the newspaper metro, and a radio station, plus we even won tickets to the movie. So we got the chance to se Tom again and hear the producers talk about the movie just before the movie started~

A big shout out to the staff of the sergels torn bion, you guys were great! Super sweet staff, this will be a night to remember for the rest of my life!
Shoppade lite idag, i vanlig ordning. Hittade då dessa urläckra posters som fanns på stan. Jag hade gärna haft en komplett samling, men det fanns så få posters att det är tveksamt att jag kommer hitta alla. Posters jag gärna vill ha är: Jet Li, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, och mr Norris! ;)
Såg nu som först att Liam Hemsworth, Chris Hemsworths (Thor) yngre broder är med i filmen.
Jag kan ju säga det att jag kände mig en aning förvånad, det kändes lite otippat att han är med i den testosteronfyllda actionrullen och inte Chris av Hemsworths-bröderna. Liam Hemsworth är även med i filmen Hunger Games som Katniss barndomskompis Gale.
Ser däremot fram emot filmen och hoppas på att den är lika bra som den första.
Jag tror inte den nya film succén har undgått någon. Och självfallet så har de arbetat fram en hel spännade merchandise. Jag hittade denna pin från sci-fi bokhandelns sortiment som jag köpte. För några månader sedan hittade jag även en blogg full med godsaker för fansen. Några saker jag funderar på att köpa är träningströjorna, jackan och den silvriga sportbag;en med district 12 på. Jag skulle inte heller ha något emot en Katniss bow replica ;)
